Fly Day with Eric Brown

Eric (my first cousin) hosted a Fly Day in Cumberland, Wisconsin. Grandma and Hallie went up together. Phoebe went up by herself and Ben and Henry went up together! Everyone had a great time!

these two . . . they can drive me nuts and make my heart happy all in one day! i am not sure who put a quarter in them . . . or maybe it was the dr. pepper i let them have at dinner? 


there were costume changes, dancing, singing, and oh so many giggles . . .

who knew making cucumber boats would lead to this . . .  henry needed a "lake" for his boat.  so when cleo came out to say good night to grandma billie and grandpa jerry she couldn't resist . . . in the tub she went {with her pj's on} henry didn't want to miss out on the fun so he ran and got his suit on . . . 

it doesn't matter that these two are almost 8 years apart . . . they can have so much fun together. just another part of an ordinary day that makes my heart happy!

p.s. why is this so much cuter on 20 month old than a 40 year old!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HENRY!!

My little boy is TEN YEARS old today! WOW! Still can't believe that ten years has gone by . . . I remember the day he was born like it was yesterday!  

He's a good kid . .  funny, sentimental, creative, kind, a great big brother . . .  Happy Birthday H-Bomb! We love you!

Henry celebrated his 10th birthday with Lou, Jackson and Sam.  A pool party. Big cupcakes. Water balloons. Squirt guns. Frozen t-shirt game. Big laughs.
